Our Track & Field season typically runs from March through July and our Cross Country season typically runs from September through November. The registration/information meeting typically occurs during the first week March and September. The Central Florida Gliders Track & Field and Cross Country programs are for Boys and Girls aged 12 and above (see below for age divisions).

USATF Individual Membership Card ($20; valid calendar year)
All required documents and payments must be submitted within one week of your first practice. Please make checks payable to the Central Florida Gliders and indicate the athlete and what the payment is for.
A registration fee of $50.00 per season is required for each athlete. For families with more than two youth athletes, the registration fee is only required for the first two family members. The registration fee for returning high school students is only $15 (first registration is $50). There is no fee for returning Gliders while enrolled in college. This fee is used to cover the cost of club operations such as postage, stationary and general expenses. It pays to register early as athletes receive a complimentary Gliders' t-shirt with registration, while supplies last. The club uniform is required for those athletes that plan to compete. The uniform fee is $50.00 and the same uniform is used for cross country and track & field. The Central Florida Gliders organization is registered with both Junior Olympic groups (USA Track & Field (USATF) and USA Amateur Athletic Union (AAU)) and desires its athletes to be members also. Individual athlete memberships are required for athletes to participate in many AAU and USATF competitions. Please wait until after the Gliders registration/information meeting before registering your child with with these groups, as our meet schedule will determine if you need one or both memberships. Once the AAU and/or USATF decision has been made, please register your child online at www.aauathletics.org (look for the "Join Now" logo) and www.usatf.org, print out the membership card and provide us with a copy. Make sure you use the Glider's AAU and USATF team numbers on our home page when your register. Note: You can save $5 on USATF membership by visiting the Florida USATF website In addition to the club fees, many of the competitions charge entry fees and spectator admission fees. Other expenses may include competition outside of the Orlando area that requires travel and lodging expenses. The Gliders host a number of fund-raising events and conduct many efforts to raise funds; however, the proceeds from these activities fall short in meeting the needs of all of the athletes in the club. Registration forms are available online or by contacting one of the coaches. The form must be completed by a parent or guardian of each athlete and returned to a club officer, coach or can be mailed to our corporate address. Please include one copy of the athlete's birth certificate. For more information, please contact us. Note: An athlete will not be allowed to practice until their registration form has been submitted online or turned in. If an athlete brings a friend to practice, the friend must have a completed registration form too. Registration documents are shredded each calendar year. New documents are needed each year.
