Attending practice regularly and on time will enable an athlete to achieve his/her personal goals and top performance. Athletes should arrive 10 minutes early to complete their warm up and stretching and be ready to safely work-out at 6:00 pm.   Athletes need to be nourished and hydrated 1-2 hours in advance of practice such that they don't get cramps, but have the energy required to get the most out of their training.

Please keep the following in mind, especially for those athletes juggling multiple sports, or juggling club and school track & field or cross-country, rest and recovery are critical parts of any training program.  Athletes should be resting on their off days and should not be attending more than one strenuous practice per day.

First XC Practice Tuesday, September 1st

Attending practice regularly and on time will enable an athlete to achieve his/her personal goals and top performance. Athletes should arrive 10-15 minutes early to complete their warm up (~8-10 minute run with a partner or in view of their parent/guardian) and stretching (~5 minutes) and be ready to safely work-out at 6:00 pm.   Athletes need to be nourished and hydrated 1-2 hours in advance of practice such that they don't get cramps, but have the energy required to get the most out of their training.
