CFC College Scholarship Application

Athletes entering college in the fall or who are in college currently are eligible to apply for a scholarship. The program was originally formed to help fund computer and technology related equipment; however, the award can be used to cover tuition and other school expenses. Preference is given to college seniors, juniors, sophomores and freshmen respectively. Graduate students may also apply. The Scholarship Program is primarily funded by proceeds from the Gliders Speed Golf Tournament, The Gliders Spring Track Classic, The Track Shack Foundation, The Glatting Foundation and and many other donations.

Athletes will be awarded scholarships in varying amounts depending on number of years a Glider, volunteering for Glider events, grades,  community service, leadership roles, participation in school clubs and other accomplishments in academics, the arts and athletics. Athletes can print out and submit the application in May with a deadline of December 15th to return it completed along with a resume by mail to the Gliders Corporate address on our home page. If you need additional information, contact Coachwise@hotmail.com.

The awards are based on number of years a Glider, volunteering for Glider events, leadership roles, participation in community events and clubs as well as athletic or arts participation.
