Coach Mark Robinson and his family became a part of the Central Florida Gliders in 2007. As a youth growing up in England and Jamaica, Mark excelled in track & field, cross country, and soccer. As a freshman at the University of the West Indies, he made the JV soccer team and varsity volleyball and track & field teams.

Coach Robinson has been a track & field (middle & long distance) and cross country coach with the Gliders since the Fall of 2007. He has completed the USATF Developmental Level Training. Coach Robinson also volunteers his time with club administration, marketing and managing the web site. Prior to the Gliders, he was a volunteer soccer coach for 5 years with the Celebration Eagles.

He is a seasoned business professional with over 20 years of diverse Fortune 500 (Disney, Procter & Gamble, Rohm & Haas, and Schering-Plough) and small company (Caribbean Kitchen LLC, and Rosic Advertising) experience in management consulting, brand management, product management, strategic planning, entrepreneurship, operations, market research, customer relationship management, sales, engineering, and product development within the pharmaceutical, chemical, advertising, restaurant, hospitality, and entertainment industries.

He is President and Founder of CK Jerk Shack, a new and exciting gourmet Island BBQ catering company (www.ckjerkshack.com). He is also vice president of Master Trainer TMR & Associates, a training consulting firm (www.mastertrainertmr.com).

Mark has an M.B.A. in General Management from Cornell University, and a B.E. in Chemical Engineering from The City College of New York. He resides in Altamonte Springs, FL with his wife Theresa and their two children.
